Growing your own food going off grid is only as good as your guns. Total non participation is the only choice, control the demolition on our terms. Stop working, stop volunteering, giving to charity, going to sports or entertainment events, subscribing to streaming, stop participating as much as possible. Only buy what you need, locally. This will only work if enough of us do it, but we can only do it individually, so do it now and let others see the direct action you are taking.
Learn to make biofuel for diesel motors from used cooking oil.
Look into running LPG, methane or natural gas on gasoline motors.
I have been doing these conversations for decades and personally daily drive an old land cruiser on LPG with a BBQ cylinder if I can get the propane at a service station.
