UN FAO Warns of Food Crisis, Announces Technocratic Takeover of Food Production

FAO's policy recommendations speak to the end of traditional farming/ranching

"The ongoing blockade of the Strait of Hormuz due to the U.S. war against Iran has limited the supply of fossil-fuel-derived synthetic nitrogen fertilizers, causing prices to spike. Seems like a perfect storm to trigger a global food crisis, but it’s important to point out that we can grow food without synthetic fertilizers. Regenerative organic farms don’t use synthetic fertilizers. Industrial farms use more than they need. Most of it ends up polluting drinking water or feeding the dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico. Nearly all the fertilizer in the U.S. is used on one crop: corn. Nearly all of that corn is being used to either make ethanol (using just as much fossil fuels as it displaces) or feed livestock in factory farms. Cut waste. Go organic. Go grass-fed. Problem solved."
