This Time Is Different
This Time Is Different
The world is racing toward energy collapse and global depression. But this time, the rules have changed: no victory gardens. No resilience. Just digital IDs, CBDC, rationing, and engineered dependence. This time is different.
A sober, big-picture look at the long-planned collapse into the Great Reset -- and why growing your own food is more important now than ever.

Fortunately I live in an area of Arkansas that has a large Homesteading/Prepping/Off-grid living community. Just about everyone I know is doubling down on their food production (gardens, chickens, rabbits, etc.). I think this time is different because people learned from the Covid pandemic that they need to be more self-sufficient. Me and my neighbors are in a lot better situation today than in March of 2020.
Not to mention that "this time" the previous generation is being blamed for everything wrong in the world (which is insane). Back then, people respected the previous generation, learned from them, and valued their contributions and skills.
There are only a few podcasters that don't mention at least once in every show how horrible the "boomers" are, and how we have never done anything good and are only selfish and greedy and all of us live in giant homes and have 2 vacation home (never mind that many "boomers" are barely 61 or 62 years old, live in very modest homes like ours that is only 900 sq ft and is 75 years old, and couldn't have possibly caused the problems that have been multiple decades in the making, and have been caused by monsters that a lot of us "boomers" have been railing against our entire lives).
Sigh... that being said, if you're a person that has been able to avoid allowing these divisive tools to use generational division as yet another method to destroy us... don't be afraid to reach out to an "evil" "boomer" for advice. We are the last generation that remembers what it was like to live in a completely analog world. Many of us still have *skills* like gardening, repairing, food preservation, animal husbandry, and multitudes of others. Sure... it's great to have a room full of prep, but in a long-term nightmare, once that room full of prep is gone, if you don't have skills you are screwed.
Skills beat prep! Always.
